Synopsis
Knuckleball (2018) is a Canadian horror-thriller from director Michael Peterson that you can stream online on iFILM. Twelve-year-old Henry is dropped off at his grandfather's remote farm — no phone signal, nearest house a long walk away. That night, the old man dies in his sleep. Henry is stranded.
His only contact is neighbor Jacob, played by Michael Ironside — which is the film's main asset and its quiet promise of menace. What Henry gradually pieces together about his grandfather's past makes the isolation feel less like bad luck and more like a trap someone set a long time ago. Peterson keeps the setup stripped down: no jump-scare padding, just a farmhouse, a scared kid, and the particular dread of being completely on your own.
