Everyone's Hero

Everyone's Hero (2006) is an animated family adventure you can watch online on iFILM, co-directed by Christopher Reeve in what became his final film project. Set in 1932, the story starts when Yankee Irving's father — a janitor at Yankee Stadium — gets blamed for the theft of Babe Ruth's lucky bat, just days before the deciding game of the World Series.

Yankee sets off alone to find the bat and bring it back, travelling from New York all the way to Chicago. His companions on the road are Screwie, a wisecracking talking baseball, and Darlin', the stolen bat herself — a prima donna with strong opinions. Whoopi Goldberg, Brian Dennehy, William H. Macy, Mandy Patinkin, and Raven-Symoné lend their voices to the cast.
