About

Synopsis

Bobby (2006) is a drama written and directed by Emilio Estevez that you can watch online on iFILM. Set entirely inside the Ambassador Hotel in Los Angeles on June 4–5, 1968, the film takes place in the hours before and after Robert F. Kennedy was shot dead following his California primary victory.

Twenty-two characters — a retiring doorman, a hotel manager, kitchen workers, newlyweds, a lounge singer, campaign volunteers — move through their own private dramas, unaware of what is about to land on them. The ensemble pulls together Anthony Hopkins, Laurence Fishburne, Helen Hunt, Sharon Stone, Demi Moore, Lindsay Lohan, Elijah Wood, and Shia LaBeouf in a single night.

Estevez deliberately keeps RFK off-screen, making the assassination a force that strikes from offstage. It is a film about the moment America lost something it cannot name — and that framing is what makes it land harder than any straight biopic would. Stream Bobby (2006) online on iFILM.
