Synopsis
Togetherness (2015–2016) is the Duplass brothers' bittersweet HBO series, ready to watch online on iFILM. Across two seasons, four adults share one Los Angeles house and quietly sabotage each other's plans.
Brett and Michelle have been married long enough for the spark to gutter out. Into their home move two strays: Brett's old friend Alex, a broke actor who can't land a part, and Michelle's sister Tina, running from her own romantic wreckage. Everyone here is pushing forty with little to show for it, and each one's dream keeps colliding with someone else's. Mark Duplass, Melanie Lynskey, Steve Zissis and Amanda Peet lead the cast.
Mark and Jay Duplass shoot in their loose, half-improvised style — overlapping talk, awkward silences, jokes that sting on the way down.
