Detective Mel Harmony (Beetz) works backward through what happened and finds three separate worlds colliding: a Guyanese diaspora community running a ritual karma scheme, a Manhattan family sitting on old wrongs, and a delivery man from the Bronx who picked the wrong job at the wrong time. The tagline "What goes around" is structural, not decorative.
