Adapted from Morgan Lloyd Malcolm's stage play, the film wears its theatrical roots openly: two actors, mostly one room, no exit. The tension comes not from chases but from working out who is lying to whom and why. If you go for taut two-hander thrillers with a bare set and frayed nerves, this delivers.
