For years the families of Torre Baró — migrants who came north looking for work — have climbed broken roads on foot because no public transport reaches their homes. So Manolo does something no one expects. He loads his neighbours onto the bus and drives it up the hill himself, route map be damned, and the stunt turns into a story the whole city starts repeating.

It really happened. Fernández anchors the film as a quiet, stubborn man who never gives a speech — he just does the thing he believes is fair.
