The Marksman

The Marksman (2005) is a lean action thriller you can watch online on iFILM, with Wesley Snipes as a special-ops sniper sent behind enemy lines. Chechen fighters have seized a derelict nuclear reactor, and the Pentagon wants it gone before they can bring it back online.

Snipes plays the operative codenamed Painter, ordered to plant a targeting beacon so the plant can be wiped out from the air. Then the mission unravels, and a quiet job becomes a one-man war on hostile ground where his death would stay buried forever. Director Marcus Adams keeps it tight across 95 minutes: chases, firefights, and a last stand against an entire militia. No big themes on offer here — just Snipes doing what he does best.
