Sonic Boom (Seasons 1–2)

Sonic Boom (2014) is an animated comedy series you can watch online on iFILM — a co-production between Sega and French studio OuiDo!, set in its own standalone universe separate from the main game continuity. Roger Craig Smith voices Sonic, Colleen O'Shaughnessey is Tails, Travis Willingham is Knuckles, and Cindy Robinson is Amy; newcomer Sticks the Badger rounds out the crew.

Each episode drops Sonic and his friends into a fresh scheme from Dr. Eggman, a villain whose ambitions consistently outpace his results. Orbot and Cubot loyally assist, increasingly implausible giant robots show up, and Eggman's plan falls apart in a different way every time. The show leans into dry self-aware humour more than most franchise animation of this era — characters regularly break the rhythm with deadpan asides, which makes it watchable for parents alongside the target audience.
