Synopsis
Seed (2006) is Uwe Boll's brutal Canadian horror film, and you can watch it online on iFILM. Serial killer Max Seed is strapped into the electric chair, but the current fails to finish him. So the police tie him up and bury him alive, certain the nightmare is over.
Seed claws his way out of the grave. Then he sets about his revenge with grim patience — first on the men who put him under, then on anyone unlucky enough to be nearby. Boll shoots it without mercy for the audience: the camera holds on what most directors would have cut away from. Michael Paré, Ralf Möller and a young Jodelle Ferland turn up in smaller roles.
It's a short film, barely 79 minutes, riding on a single idea — an evil that won't die, pushed to a stomach-turning extreme. It's aimed at fans of uncompromising, visceral horror who can stomach genuinely ugly scenes; everyone else should steer clear. Stream Seed (2006) online on iFILM.
