Synopsis

Vlad drove back Ottoman pressure through Wallachia, but his signature method — mass impalement, feasts staged among the dying, calculated public terror — horrified enemies and allies in equal measure, and contemporaries wrote it all down. Peter Weller, Jane March, and Roger Daltrey (vocalist of The Who) fill supporting roles.
