The target is a rogue general running hit-and-run ethnic cleansing across a stretch of no man's land. Beckett's assigned partner is a condemned convict (Bokeem Woodbine), and the two have to trust each other with a scope trained on everything that moves. One shot, one mistake, and the hunters turn into the hunted. This is a sequel to the 1993 original, with Berenger back in the role that started it — less jungle this time, more Balkan mud and crosshairs. Straight-ahead genre fare for fans of long-range duels.
