About

Synopsis

Clifford (1994) is a Paul Flaherty comedy you can watch online on iFILM, built on one deranged gag: a ten-year-old terror played by a fully grown Martin Short.

Clifford's parents dump the boy on his uncle Martin (Charles Grodin) in Los Angeles. The kid has exactly one obsession — getting to a dinosaur theme park called Dinosaur World. Martin, an engineer who helped build the place, foolishly promises to take him. From there Clifford dismantles his uncle's life piece by piece: wrecking his romance with Sarah (Mary Steenburgen), landing him in jail and driving him toward a full breakdown.

The film sat on the shelf for years before release and has since grown a cult following for how genuinely strange it is. Short commits to the bit with unsettling conviction, and Grodin's slow-burn fury is the perfect target. Too odd to write off as a simple flop. Stream Clifford online on iFILM.
