Ritsuka Uenoyama has played guitar for years and stopped caring. Then he hears Mafuyu Sato sing — once, by accident — and cannot get the sound out of his head. He starts teaching Mafuyu chords, eventually pulls him into the band alongside Haruki and Akihiko. Mafuyu carries something heavy from his past, something unresolved, and it surfaces in every note he sings. The season builds slowly and deliberately toward the band's first real performance.
