The Method

The Method (El método, 2005) is a Spanish-Argentine psychological thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Director Marcelo Piñeyro adapted Jordi Galcerán's stage play "The Grönholm Method": seven finalists for a single senior post at a multinational company are locked in a boardroom and told to eliminate each other.

Nobody explains the rules. By morning there were seven; by evening there can be one. Eduardo Noriega, Najwa Nimri, and Eduard Fernández lead a cast that moves from polished ambition to something much uglier, step by step, as each new test strips away the professional veneer. Alliances form and dissolve in the same conversation.

Almost the entire film takes place inside one room, and that compression is the point — the pressure cooker reveals what people will do when a job title is the prize.
