Synopsis
Deadwater Fell (2020) is a four-part Scottish crime drama you can watch online on iFILM — a Channel 4 series written by Daisy Coulam and directed by Lynsey Miller. David Tennant and Cush Jumbo lead.
Village doctor Tom Kendrick is well-regarded and seemingly settled. One night his house catches fire: his wife and all three children die, and Tom is the only survivor. Police later confirm the fire was deliberate — the family was murdered. The investigation moves through the tight-knit community and the more it finds, the less anyone's account holds together. Tennant plays Kendrick with an unreadable stillness that keeps the viewer off balance right to the end.
