The School Nurse Files (2020) is a Korean fantasy-drama series you can watch online on iFILM. Its heroine sees what no one else can — and fights it off with a glowing toy sword.

Ahn Eun-young, played by Jung Yu-mi, takes a job as the nurse at an elite private school and quickly learns the place is crawling with gelatinous blobs only she can perceive. They're the residue of human desires and fears, sometimes harmless, sometimes deadly. A Chinese-language teacher named Hong In-pyo, played by Nam Joo-hyuk, becomes her unlikely battery: one touch recharges her powers. Together they dig into why this particular campus draws so much unseen filth, and what waits beneath its floors.

Directed by Lee Kyoung-mi and adapted from Chung Serang's novel, the show ran on Netflix as a tight six-episode run. The look is deliberately odd, almost handmade — the monsters are cheap-looking on purpose and oddly endearing, leaning into whimsy rather than scares.
