Crossing the Battle Frontier, Ash and his friends run into a Pokémon Ranger named Jack who has one job: carry the egg of the legendary Manaphy to a temple resting on the ocean floor. A greedy pirate called the Phantom wants Manaphy's power for himself, so the trip turns into a chase across the sea. Kids get an underwater adventure, a new water-type Pokémon to meet, and the familiar crew of Pikachu, May and Brock. It's simple, colorful and pitched right at younger viewers.
