Synopsis
The Grumpy (Il burbero, 1986) is an Italian comedy with Adriano Celentano you can watch online on iFILM. Tito Torrisi is a rich, sour, antisocial lawyer who always buys both seats on a flight so nobody can sit next to him.
That plan collapses when American traveler Mary (Debra Feuer), on her way to Florence to meet her husband, charms the spare ticket right out of him. At the airport they swap identical suitcases — and his holds the papers that could win a major case. From there it all goes sideways: Mary's husband turns up dead, gangsters tie her up in her hotel suite, and the prickly lawyer has to untangle a mess that isn't his while fighting off feelings he refuses to admit.
It comes from the directing duo Castellano and Pipolo, Celentano's regular filmmakers in those years. The whole movie rides on his trademark scowl: the worse his mood, the bigger the laugh.
