Synopsis

Afraid he's no longer wanted, Albin dresses up and heads to a café to be noticed — and walks straight into a spy who slips him a roll of secret microfilm. With ruthless agents now on their trail, the couple bolts for a farm in the Italian countryside, where Albin has to pass as Renato's wife in front of a mother-in-law who suspects nothing. Michel Serrault and Ugo Tognazzi are the whole reason to tune in; their bickering carries every scene.
It's that rare follow-up that keeps the warmth of the first film instead of just recycling its gags, swapping in rural Italian farce for the Riviera nightclub.
