Laura and her brother Henry watched the Boogeyman kill their parents when they were children. A decade later the nightmares haven't let up. Laura checks into a psychiatric facility where her brother recovered, reasoning that clinical walls and trained doctors are the rational cure for an irrational fear. She's wrong. The creature follows her in, and the locked ward that was supposed to be her refuge becomes the hunting ground.
