Synopsis
"The Last Days of Ptolemy Grey" (2022) is an Apple TV+ limited series you can watch online on iFILM, adapted from Walter Mosley's novel. Samuel L. Jackson plays Ptolemy Grey, a 91-year-old man whose dementia has hollowed out most of his past — until his nephew's sudden death leaves him in the care of Robyn (Dominique Fishback), a teenage orphan he barely knows.
An experimental treatment can restore Ptolemy's memories temporarily, but along with them everything he'd managed to forget. What he does with that clarity — specifically with what he now knows about how his nephew died — drives the six-episode story. Walton Goggins plays against type in a role that requires far less noise than usual.
