Obsessed

Obsessed (2009) is an American psychological thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Steve Shill. Derek Charles has built exactly the kind of life you'd want: senior position, beautiful home, a marriage that works. Then a temp named Lisa starts at his office, and the film takes it from there — slow at first, then all at once.

Idris Elba plays Derek with a believable frustration: the man does almost nothing wrong and still loses control of his own story as Lisa's fixation escalates from harmless flattery to something that puts his job, his marriage and eventually his safety at risk. Ali Larter leans into the ambiguity of her character — Lisa isn't simply menacing, she genuinely can't parse where fantasy ends and reality begins. Beyoncé's Sharon spends most of the runtime in a reactive role, but the film is smart enough to save its best moment for her.
