Synopsis
You Are My Hero (你是我的城池营垒, 2021) is a Chinese drama you can watch online on iFILM. It builds its romance around two jobs where a mistake costs someone their life: a young doctor and a special-ops soldier cross paths during a joint training drill and get off to a rocky start.
Mi Ka is just beginning her residency at the hospital, while Xing Kelei serves on a SWAT unit. Their first meeting is prickly, but circumstances keep pushing them back together. The turning point comes after an earthquake, when both head into the disaster zone to help with the rescue and Xing Kelei sees just how selflessly she does her work. From there, mutual irritation slowly turns into something more.
