Muzzle

Muzzle (2023) is an American action thriller directed by John Stalberg — watch it online on iFILM. Aaron Eckhart plays LAPD K-9 officer Jake Rosser; Steven Lang co-stars. The tagline says vengeance is off the leash, which is accurate.

Rosser loses his K-9 partner Ace in a shooting and takes it harder than most. Working out who pulled the trigger sends him into a corruption case wider than one bad guy: a drug operation flooding the streets and a bureaucracy inside the department determined to bury the thread. His new four-legged partner, a German shepherd named Sox, is as damaged and sidelined as he is.

The film is straightforward genre work — revenge drive, dirty city, a cop with nothing left to lose. Eckhart commits to it, and the bond between the two partners gives the action sequences more weight than the premise might suggest. Stream Muzzle (2023) online on iFILM.
