The Forest (Season 1)

The Forest (La Forêt, 2017) is a Belgian-French crime series you can watch online on iFILM. Sixteen-year-old Jennifer disappears from her Ardennes village in the middle of the night. She calls her teacher just before — then nothing.

Captain Gaspard Deker (Samuel Labarthe), a former soldier newly posted to the area with a young child in tow, leads the investigation alongside local officer Virginie Musso (Suzanne Clément). The teacher, Eve Mendel (Alexia Barlier), looks like a useful witness until her own history surfaces: she was found wandering this same forest as a child, silent, with no memory of how she got there.
