The Myth of Maracuda

Marakuda (2025) is a Russian animated adventure-comedy you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Viktor Glukhushin. Marakuda is the chief's son and is supposed to become a great hunter and warrior. He has absolutely no talent for either.

When he sneaks off into the forest alone, he finds Tink — a sacred bird — who grants him the ability to understand the language of every animal around him. He returns home a hero. What Marakuda doesn't know is that tribal tradition demands the sacred bird be sacrificed for the tribe's wellbeing. Voice cast includes Prokhor Chekhovsky and Pyotr Ivashchenko.
