Synopsis
Two brothers, one last job, and a bank in New Orleans — American Heist (2014) is a crime thriller to watch online on iFILM, directed by Sarik Andreasyan. Hayden Christensen plays James, who has been building something clean since his time inside: a mechanic job, a relationship, a plan for his own shop. Then his older brother Frankie walks out after a decade in prison.
Adrien Brody plays Frankie, and the offer he brings is what it always is — one quick score, then everything resets. James did sixteen months partly because of Frankie. He knows exactly how this goes. But his attempts at a normal life keep running into his record, and the bank job in New Orleans ends up far bloodier than anything Frankie promised. Jordana Brewster and Rachel Bilson round out the cast.
A solid heist thriller. Christensen and Brody make the fraternal dynamic work even when the script does not always help them. Watch American Heist (2014) online on iFILM.
