Synopsis
Money Trap (Organize İşler: Sazan Sarmalı, 2019) is a Turkish crime comedy with an action streak, ready to watch online on iFILM. Yılmaz Erdoğan both directs and stars as Asım Noyan, an Istanbul con artist whose crew no police force has ever managed to pin down.
This time the swindler is the one who gets played. His daughter and son-in-law fall prey to a colder, sharper operator who runs the city's underground gambling dens. To dig his family out of crushing debt, Asım has to pull the old gang back together and run a long con against someone playing the very same game, only meaner. What follows is a run of setups, double bluffs and sleight of hand where you never quite know who's conning whom.
It's the sequel to the cult 2005 Turkish comedy, shifting the focus from street-level hustling to one big high-stakes scam. Kıvanç Tatlıtuğ and Ezgi Mola bring extra star wattage to the cast.
