Brillantissime

Brillantissime (2018) is a French comedy you can watch online on iFILM. On the Riviera, Angela seems to have it all — a handsome husband, a big apartment, a closet full of dresses. Then, on Christmas Eve, the husband walks out.

Rather than fall apart, Angela decides to treat her new freedom as a gift. Around her swirls a small circus of relatives: a stubborn teenage daughter, a mother who rules like a dictator, a best friend permanently on the edge of a meltdown, and a psychologist who's more trouble than help. Michèle Laroque both stars and directs here, turning the story into something close to an autobiographical romp. Kad Merad and Rossy de Palma add color.
