Thr3e

Thr3e (2007) is Robby Henson's puzzle-box thriller, and you can watch it online on iFILM. Seminary student Kevin gets a phone call from a killer who calls himself the Riddle Killer. The rules are brutal: solve the riddle in three minutes or a bomb goes off. The game has started, and there's no walking away from it.

Each riddle feeds into the next, and innocent lives ride on every answer. Kevin's childhood friend Samantha and detective Jennifer Peters join the chase, and for Jennifer the case turns personal fast. The further they unravel the chain, the more obvious it becomes that the killer knows something about Kevin he's buried deep — and the final answer rewrites everything that came before. Marc Blucas, Justine Waddell and Bill Moseley lead the cast.

Adapted from Ted Dekker's novel, it works as a psychological riddle in the vein of Se7en and Saw, but laced with a quieter theme of guilt and second chances. A good fit for viewers who love a last-minute twist and don't mind a modest budget. Stream Thr3e (2007) online on iFILM.
