Synopsis
Fade to Black (1980) is an American horror-thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Vernon Zimmerman. Dennis Christopher plays Eric Binford — a solitary, obsessive film buff who has memorized entire movie scripts and regularly dresses as his favorite characters.
When the people around him push too far — a bullying boss, a domineering landlady, a girlfriend who quits — Eric stops treating movies and reality as separate things. He doesn't quote Dracula or James Cagney anymore: he becomes them, turning personal grudges into costumed murders straight out of old Hollywood.
