What follows is a relay race of strangers: doctors, flight attendants, police officers, and ordinary passengers pass the child down the chain, each buying a few more minutes. The film stars Li Bingbing and Huang Xiaoming and is based on a real 2019 rescue that unfolded almost exactly as shown. Stripped of sentimentality, it lets the facts carry the weight — and they do.
