The man everyone is chasing is John Smith, who was simply in the wrong place. He's now running from Elvis impersonators, tribal warriors, cowboys, a six-foot blonde assassin, a corrupt sheriff, and an ill-tempered little person — all at once. Christian Slater, Gary Oldman, Powers Boothe, and Helena Mattsson bring recognizable faces to something that functions as deliberate B-movie chaos.
