Synopsis
Boonie Bears: Homeward Journey (2013) is a Chinese animated film you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Fuyuan Liu. It's the run-up to New Year in the forest, and while every animal is getting ready to celebrate, lumberjack Vick has other priorities — he's built a tree-cutting machine that could take out half the woods, all so he can earn enough to get home for the holidays.
The only ones who can stop him are the two bear brothers, Briar and Bramble — currently deep in hibernation. Everyone else has to wake them up first. The film's small twist is that Vick isn't really a villain; he just wants to be home with his family, which makes it surprisingly easy to root for him and against him at the same time.
