Mountains

Mountains (2024) is an independent American drama you can watch online on iFILM. Xavier works in demolition across Miami and is saving for a bigger house for his wife and son.

The cruel part: he is tearing down his own neighbourhood. Little Haiti, the enclave where Xavier has spent his whole life, is being bought up by developers, and his crew flattens the homes of people he knows. Things are tense at home too. His son Junior has dropped out of college to chase a career as an online stand-up comic, his father can't accept it, and the savings shrink faster than the dream grows. Atibon Nazaire plays the quiet labourer whose ground is sliding out from under him, literally.
