Synopsis
Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery (2022) is Rian Johnson's whodunit comedy you can watch online on iFILM. Detective Benoit Blanc trades a New England mansion for a tech billionaire's private Greek island, where a weekend of luxury comes with a murder game attached.
Host Miles Bron gathers an old crew of hangers-on: a governor, a fading model, a scientist, a streamer. Then a body at the party turns out to be no game at all. Daniel Craig is back as Blanc, drawl and all, picking apart a puzzle box of motives. Edward Norton plays the preening mogul, Janelle Monae arrives with a personal score to settle, and Kate Hudson, Dave Bautista and Kathryn Hahn round out the suspects.
Johnson takes the locked-room formula and aims it at Silicon Valley's cult of self-made genius. The mystery is layered like its namesake onion: peel back enough and the center is almost insultingly obvious. Keep an eye out for the cameos.
