Synopsis
I Am a Bear (2024) is a Russian family comedy you can watch online on iFILM. The Kovalevs are barely holding together: Aleksandr, once the captain of the local Taiga hockey club, still can't shake off a bad injury, so his wife ends up running the household alone.
Their teenage daughter Liza is lost in her awkward years, and the youngest, Zhenya, has no friends at all — not at school, not in the yard. Then the boy carries home a tiny bear cub that wandered away from its mother near the edge of town. The little animal turns the family's routine upside down and, against all odds, becomes the glue that pulls these drifting relatives back together.
Directed by Kirill Kemnits, the film stars Nikita Kologrivy, Agata Muceniece, Dmitry Kalikhov and Ekaterina Borisova. Rated 6+, it's gentle and warm with no nasty twists — best watched as a household, especially with a kid who keeps begging for a pet. Stream I Am a Bear (2024) online on iFILM.
