Kryptic

Kryptic (2025) is a moody blend of drama, horror, and thriller you can watch online on iFILM. Kay hikes out toward Krypto Peak, where a cryptozoologist named Barbara Valentine vanished years earlier. Deep in the trees she meets a strange creature, blacks out, and comes to with no memory of who she is.

From there it slips into a slow waking dream. Realizing she's a dead ringer for the missing woman, Kay retraces Barbara's steps, questioning everyone who saw her or knew anything about the thing in the woods. The feature debut of photographer Kourtney Roy, with Chloe Pirrie in the lead, leans more toward cosmic horror about a dissolving self than a monster hunt.
