Synopsis
Thaghut (2024) is an Indonesian horror film you can watch online on iFILM. Ainun learns a hard truth about the father she never knew: Abah Mulia passed himself off as a spiritual healer, yet what he really taught was heresy that pulled him away from the faith.
She sets out to untangle his legacy and steer his followers back toward the right path. But something is buried inside his teachings, and it has no intention of letting his disciples — or Ainun — walk away. The deeper she digs, the clearer it gets that prayer alone won't push this darkness back. Yasmin Napper and Arbani Yasiz lead the cast.
Director Bobby Prasetyo builds his scares from belief, sin and possession, in the tradition of Indonesian genre cinema rather than the usual Western exorcism playbook. A good fit if you like religious horror with a distinctly Southeast Asian flavor. Stream Thaghut (2024) online on iFILM.
