Synopsis
Sugar Mill (Pabrik Gula, 2025) is an Indonesian horror film you can watch online on iFILM. Seven friends sign on for seasonal harvest work and arrive at an aging sugar factory deep in the countryside.
The early shifts pass quietly. Then one of the girls slips out of the dormitory after dark, trailing a dim figure into the cane fields, and the calm is gone. Accidents start piling up on the production line. A creeping dread settles over the crew. Before long, they find the first body. The ground the factory stands on was never empty, and whatever lives there wants them gone.
Directed by Awi Suryadi, behind several of the biggest Indonesian horror hits of recent years, the film leans on local spirit folklore instead of cheap jump scares. It's slow-burn fear stretched across 133 minutes, and the 18+ rating earns its place. Stream Sugar Mill (2025) online on iFILM.
