Gonchie ("The Hounds," 2007) is a Russian crime series you can watch online on iFILM. A rookie named Maksim joins a penitentiary unit that tracks escaped convicts and finds a sleepy office instead of real police work.

The calm breaks fast. A killer sentenced to twenty years slips away during transfer, and the hunt is on. As the squad chases him down, the cases pile up — including runaways from a women's colony, where the quarry is rarely just quarry. Sergey Makhovikov and Aleksandr Aleksandrov lead the cast.
