I'm Watching You (Season 1)

I'm Watching You (Я слежу за тобой, 2022) is a Russian buddy comedy about two cops, and you can watch online on iFILM. Titov, young and far too eager, blows up a narcotics sting: he accidentally wounds a surveillance officer nicknamed Shuher and gets the man's partner fired in the process. Timofey Tribuntsev and Mikhail Tryasorukov head the cast, with Leonid Gardash directing.

As punishment, Titov is shipped off to that very surveillance unit — tailing suspects from parked cars and back alleys — and saddled with Shuher as his new partner. Shuher works strictly by the book, calm and methodical; Titov is his exact opposite. Now these two, antagonists in temperament and habits alike, are stuck shoulder to shoulder almost around the clock. Every stakeout spirals into a string of absurd mishaps that, somehow, end up cracking the case.

It's a mismatched-partners comedy built on a familiar frame: we can't stand each other, but the job gets done. What carries it isn't the plot so much as the prickly chemistry between the leads.
