Synopsis
Le Chalet (2018) is a French crime thriller series you can watch online on iFILM. A group of friends — most of them childhood companions from the same alpine village — gather for a wedding at a remote chalet in the mountains. Director Camille Bordes-Resnais dismantles the reunion's warmth quickly: as the last guests arrive, the bridge connecting the village to the outside collapses.
No signal, no exit. The isolation itself becomes a character. What the series does well is the slow reveal: the guests think they know each other, but the village has a past that none of them has fully reckoned with.
