The whole season hangs on a fight. Lida finds out that Lyosha kissed her older sister Masha and throws him out, then lies to everyone about why. What follows is a long, ridiculous campaign to win her back — a faked leg injury so she lets him stay, bad advice from Gera, even a self-styled heroic deed for forgiveness. When the two do patch things up, they hide it from the family for no good reason and pay for it. Around them, Kostya shuts the robots down and bolts right before the governor arrives, Vanya wrestles with jealousy, and Borya fumbles his way through being a new dad.
