Ricochet

Ricochet (1991) is a taut crime thriller you can watch online on iFILM, directed by Russell Mulcahy. Denzel Washington plays Nick Styles, a beat cop who takes down dangerous criminal Blake in front of a crowd and becomes an overnight hero. John Lithgow plays Blake — and he never forgets.

Years later Nick is a rising assistant D.A. with a family and a future. Blake is in a cell, walls papered with newspaper clippings of Nick's career, planning something far worse than a beating. When he breaks out, the attack is methodical: destroy the reputation, the marriage, the man. Ice-T and Kevin Pollak round out a solid supporting cast, but this is really a two-man film, and both leads make the most of it.
