Raising Hope (2010) is a Fox sitcom you can watch online on iFILM — the one where a clueless twenty-four-year-old accidentally becomes a single dad after a one-night stand with a woman who ends up on death row. Lucas Neff plays Jimmy Chance, who has zero parenting skills and one massive asset: a family just unhinged enough to help raise a baby nobody planned for.

Martha Plimpton and Garrett Dillahunt play his parents — people who were basically kids themselves when they had Jimmy — and Cloris Leachman as great-grandmother Maw Maw steals scenes at will. Creator Greg Garcia, who built My Name Is Earl on similar working-class warmth, takes the same approach here: the Chances are broke, chaotic, and completely genuine about loving each other.
