Synopsis

The premise is gleefully absurd. A secret government program grows clones of famous historical figures, then drops them into an ordinary American high school. Abraham Lincoln, Joan of Arc, Cleopatra, JFK and Gandhi end up wrestling with the same teenage nonsense as everyone else. The season's spine is a love triangle: Abe pines for Cleo and never notices that Joan is quietly in love with him. Around that, there's a class-president race, a student film festival, basketball, a holiday episode. And behind the curtain, Principal Scudworth and the Secret Board of Shadowy Figures keep scheming over the clones themselves. It all funnels toward prom night and a finale that leaves the school's future wide open.
