Synopsis
Land of the Lost (2009) is a sci-fi comedy from Universal Pictures that you can watch online on iFILM. Will Ferrell stars as Dr. Rick Marshall, a disgraced paleontologist who stumbles into a space-time vortex along with his research assistant Holly (Anna Friel) and self-styled survivalist Will (Danny McBride).
The dimension on the other side is a chaotic collision of eras: living dinosaurs, lumbering creatures called Sleestaks, and scattered debris from across history. The trio's only ally is a primate named Chaka, who proves indispensable when their own instincts fail — which is often. Director Brad Silberling based the film on the cult NBC Saturday-morning series from the 1970s, trading its eerie tone for straight-up absurdist comedy.
