Synopsis

He can transform into a giant mascot-like costume — fur, zipper down the spine, loaded revolver on his hip. When classmate Clair Aoki sees it, she doesn't scream. She makes a deal: help her track down her sister, who killed their entire family, or she exposes him. The two move through their small town and then into the mountains, running into other people with impossible abilities — gatherers, hunting for coins that grant wishes. As the episodes progress, Shuichi starts to suspect that his transformation is not random, and that Clair's knowledge of it runs deeper than she admits.
